The Department of Anatomy has modern facilities that meet all the requirements of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning. The department was established in 2011. All the department laboratories are well ventilated and equipped with full set of audiovisual activities.
The department possesses high quality histology microscopic slides for the undergraduate learning. The department trains undergraduate dental students in microscopic anatomy. The department has the capacity to produce histology slides using routine stains.
The main objective of the department is to inculcate interests in research among under graduate students. Students are selected and encouraged to take up short term projects in their field of interest associated to anatomy. These research works are presented in conferences and published in scientific journals.
